Mazoon United Company (MUC) was established in 1971 with its head office and premises in Muscat, the capital of Sultanate of Oman. At an early stage, the Company started as a general trading company doing most of its business in building construction. Later on, the owner of MUC, Mr. Mohammed Habib Salman, decided to expand and diversify the nature of the business. From this point MUC started:
· Machine-
· Fabrication division
· Steel Building division
· Civil division
· Real Estate division
By 1985, the management of MUC agreed to separate tanks fabrication from the general fabrication division due to the successful achievements in this division. This decision was the birth of Mazoon Tanks which is the specialized division in manufacturing various types of tanks and tankers.
In the year 1997, Mazoon Tanks Division been shifted from Wadi Kabeer Industrial Area to Rusail Industrial Estate due to increase in demand & shortage in our premises.
In addition to the expansion on MUC, in year 1998 MHS group made a decision to establish Abrasives Manufacturing Company SAOG to be the first public company founded by MHS Group.

Adding to that, to increase our involvement in 2005 MHS established Mazoon Tanks General Trading Company L.L.C in Dubai, UAE.
